is a blog running from June to October 2010, financed by "Action America Latina" of the German Federal Agency for Civic Education, remembering 200 years of independency of Latin American countries.

20 German- and Spanish-speaking writers from Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Cuba, Germany, Guatemala, Israel, Mexiko, Peru, Uruguay, USA and Venezuela are telling us about their daily lifes in international political contexts.

Each month we chose five texts to be translated into English. They are financed by FutureChallenges.org, an online platform of the Bertelsmann Stiftung, looking at the interdependencies of global challenges.
