The researcher and sociologist of cultural matters, Juan José Sebreli, has become the interpreter of the imaginary construction of the city. In his last book, Actors and martyrs, he analyzed the social projection of characters like Carlos Gardel, Diego Armando Maradona, Eva Perón, Jorge Luis Borges, and contributes to the interpretation of an urban culture which accounts for many of the current historical circumstances.
